Fish fry raises $5500 for DARE

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Once again this year, the DARE Fish Fry was a big success on Friday.

Thanks to the public’s generosity, Columbus American Legion Post #24 presented local DARE officers with a $5500 check at the conclusion of the fundraiser.

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus Police Department thank everyone who stopped by for lunch and/or dinner. Law enforcement also gives a huge shout-out to the Columbus American Legion for its support of their local DARE program.
