BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The town of Bargersville says that it has been awarded nearly $1 million in matching funding dollars for road and infrastructure improvements through the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Community Crossings Grant Program.
The INDOT award was announced earlier this month.
The state-wide funding program is providing up to $101.9 million across 218 Indiana counties, cities, and towns.
Bargersville officials say this year’s money will be used primarily on shorter sections of residential roads within the town. The work will mostly consist of milling, overlaying, and patching to improve the surface of roads. Projects will start sometime in 2022.
