COLUMBUS, Ind. – Old clothing, broken toys, yesterday’s newspaper, and china shards may seem like trash to most, but in the hands of professionals, they can be transformed into beautiful art and fine crafts. These recycled materials will all be on display at the Déjà Vu Art and Fine Craft Show at The Commons, this Saturday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sixty artists from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky are participating in the show which is making its 16th appearance in Columbus. Art and crafts featured at the event include jewelry, sculpture, weaving, wearable art, woodworking, leatherwork, and mosaics, all created from scrap materials or items that have been repurposed.
