COLUMBUS, Ind. – The YES Film Festival has announced the Jury Prize winners for the 2021 festival going on this weekend, October 22 to 24, at YES cinema, in Columbus.
The Best Documentary ended up a tie between The Rescue, a movie by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, and Torn, a Max Lowe film.
The category of Best Narrative was won by Americanish, a film by Iman Zawahry.
The Best Short went to Feeling Through, a Doug Roland movie.
Prizes were determined by an eight-person jury comprised of filmmakers, media representatives, actors, producers, and directors from film festivals across the United States.
