INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Hospital Association (IHA), Governor Eric Holcomb, and Indiana State Department of Health Commissioner Kris Box, M.D., FACOG, recognized three area hospitals this week for their excellence in infant and maternal health.
Several Indiana birthing hospitals were honored for their commitment to addressing best-practice care for moms and babies and rising to the challenge of reducing maternal and infant mortality.
Among the Hoosier hospitals awarded with the “INspire Hospital of Distinction” recognition were Columbus Regional Health, Schneck Medical Center, and Johnson Memorial Health.
IHA celebrates and congratulates the three south-central Indiana hospitals along with all of the other health facilities in the state that were honored for their superiority in infant and maternal well-being.
