COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Regional Health (CRH) has announced that a new physician has joined the staff. Dr. Kiran Kumar Chintam will provide care for kidney disease patients at CRH and Southern Indiana Nephrology and Hypertension. He is board-certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine and board-eligible in nephrology.
Dr. Chintam graduated from NTR University of Health Sciences, in India, and completed residency training in internal medicine at Texas Tech University. In addition, he has worked as a hospitalist in Missouri.
During the practice of internal medicine, Dr. Chintam has been well connected to patients with kidney diseases and acute kidney injury requiring various dialysis treatments.
