COLUMBUS, Ind. – “Get your motor runnin’.” Local law enforcement is again hosting the fifth annual DARE Blue Line Ride this summer, and it is coming up next month.
The fully police-escorted motorcycle ride begins at Mann’s Harley Davidson in Edinburgh. The halfway stopping point is the Story Inn in Brown County and the ride concludes in Columbus with a meal catered by Big JT’s BBQ.
The cost is $25 for a solo rider and $35 for rider and passenger. The entry fee also includes a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Mann’s Harley Davidson gift card.
The DARE Blue Line Ride, on Saturday, July 10, is 85 miles and benefits the Columbus/Bartholomew County DARE Program. Registration is at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 11 a.m.
