COLUMBUS, Ind. – United States Rep. Greg Pence stopped by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Youth Academy on Friday to speak with attendees, officers, agency staff, and employees working the academy.
“Since elected, Congressman Pence has been a friend to our agency and other law enforcement/first responders in his District,” said Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers.
Rep. Pence stated, “I thank Sheriff Matt Myers for bringing together the Columbus Police Department, Indiana DNR Officers, Indiana State Police, and Excise Police for this wonderful event for kids. Programs like the Sheriff’s Youth Academy build a strong connection between law enforcement and community.”
