SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) was made aware of a threat toward Seymour High School that was posted on Instagram at around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday. The post was quickly taken down or deleted.
Detectives are investigating the threat and working diligently to find the source. Because of the threat, they will have a stronger presence at the high school.
At this time, the SPD has not found anything credible in relation to the threatening remark. Law enforcement is in constant contact with officials at Seymour Community Schools. Extra security measures are in place.
