JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana State Police (ISP), early Tuesday morning, arrested a Jennings County man wanted for a 2020 Cincinnati murder.
After receiving a tip, troopers responded to northern Jefferson County to search a rural area for Travis Edward Bailey, 26, of Commiskey, who had recently been living in Jefferson County. Law enforcement had made efforts over the past year to locate the suspect, who was believed to still be in the vicinity.
SWAT members located Bailey hiding inside a residence. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Bailey was transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he was incarcerated pending his extradition to Cincinnati to face the charges filed in Ohio.
