NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) was dispatched Monday afternoon to a location in Geneva Township in reference to a suspicious bag located in a ditch along the side of the roadway.
It was determined that the bag contained remnants of a methamphetamine lab. Due to the contents of the bag, contact was made with the Indiana State Police (ISP) Clandestine Lab Team to process it for safe disposal.
JCSO was able to retrieve forensic evidence from the bag’s contents that will be analyzed by the ISP Crime Lab and used to identify suspects for possible future charges.
