COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus City Council met Tuesday evening and approved on first reading an ordinance that brings the city into compliance with state regulations regarding the use of consumer fireworks on particular holidays.
If you are celebrating with fireworks on Independence Day or New Year’s Eve, you must end your celebration by midnight. On July 4, and December 31, it is now unlawful to shoot-off personal fireworks after 11:59 p.m.
