NORTH VERNON, Ind. – This year’s Jennings County High School Fall Homecoming Parade, originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, has been canceled based on the COVID-19 guidelines shared by the Governor’s office and the Indiana State Department of Health.
JCHS administration says they understand the importance of the parade and what it means to the community, and in its stead, the administration will be working with students and staff to provide ways for students to experience homecoming week, while still keeping all involved safe.
The high school also had to cancel Powder Puff on September 23, the JCHS pep session on September 25, and the JCHS Fall Homecoming Dance on September 25.
