FRANKLIN, Ind. – After delaying their opening day due to COVID-19, the first-ever visitor center has opened in Johnson County. The new Festival Country Visitor Center features many interactive exhibits.
“This center is unique in that it is itself an attraction, with exhibits like an indoor slide, a photo booth, a skydiving selfie opportunity, and a craft beer and wine exhibit,” said Festival Country Indiana director Kenneth Kosky.
It is designed to tell the story of Johnson County and is a collaboration of the city of Franklin, Aspire Economic Development and Chamber Alliance, and Festival Country Indiana. The new visitor center is located at 66 South Water Street, in downtown Franklin.
