FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health reported 79 positive COVID-19 cases in Indiana on Friday, including four in Johnson County. With positive cases increasing, Johnson Memorial Health (JMH) is changing its visitor policies to minimize the transmission of the virus.
Visitors under 18 and anyone with flu-like symptoms are not allowed in the building. All visitors will be screened for symptoms before they can visit patients, and only one immediate family member or support person is allowed at a time. The only entrances that can be accessed by potential visitors are the Main Entrance, Emergency Entrance, Surgery Center, and Immediate Care Center.
JMH will be offering virtual visits beginning next week.
