EDINBURGH, Ind. – Parents of children in the Edinburgh Community School Corporation are feeling their kids are a little safer while at school the last couple of weeks.
The Edinburgh Police Department and the school system welcomed Officer Michael Nunez last week as a school resource officer for Edinburgh schools. On social media, the police department said it was great to be able to provide another layer of security to protect the kids.
The school corporation now has a school resource officer because of the efforts of the Edinburgh Town Council, the Edinburgh School Board, and town manager JT Doane.
