JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – Working alone, late Wednesday night along the Muscatatuck River, Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Conservation Officer Neal Brewington checked a group of five subjects who appeared to be fishing and camping along the bank.
The seemingly “routine” check resulted in multiple arrests after the conservation officer discovered the five individuals allegedly cooking methamphetamine in the woods nearby.
According to authorities, Indiana DNR Capt. Nate Berry and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office also responded to assist in the investigation.
